Edward F. Everett ’54

Edward F. Everett ’54 passed away on January 31 in Pembroke, New Hampshire. Ted came to Dartmouth from Vermont Academy. At Dartmouth he majored in geography and was a brother of Kappa Kappa Kappa. After Dartmouth he served two years in the Air Force before joining the property and casualty insurance agency of Morrill and Everett in Concord, New Hampshire, where he spent his entire career. Ted was an avid radio operator. He obtained his first license (W1TNO) while a freshman at Dartmouth and later added W1ALE. He participated in many ham radio nets, often being net control for the Granite State net. He was a judge for both ice and roller skating and traveled around New England and to Lake Placid, New York, judging figure-skating competitions. A lifelong bachelor, Ted is survived by his sisters Jean and Cynthia.
