Edmund Lyon Kidd ’54

Edmund Lyon Kidd ’54 passed away on November 18, 2013, in Pittsford, New York, where he resided. Ed came to Dartmouth from Webster, New York. He attended Loomis. At Dartmouth he was a brother of Phi Kappa Psi, majored in geography and was a member of the Outing Club. After serving in the Army he worked in general insurance at Fred S. James Division in Rochester, New York, and in real estate investment. He was a member of the Rochester Ad Club, Genesee Valley Club, Country Club of Rochester, Seneca Lodge and the Friends of the Antique Boat Museum. He previously served on the board of the Rochester School for the Blind. Ed is survived by his wife, Shirley, and sons Kenneth, Todd and Edmund Jr.
