David Weld Stevens ’73

David Weld Stevens ’73 died unexpectedly on April 11 in Boston. At the time of his death David was a resident of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. A native of Riverside, Connecticut, David prepared for Dartmouth at the Hill School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. At the College he majored in English and comparative literature. David was active in the Dartmouth Players, played on the varsity squash team and was a member of the sailing team. He was editor of the College’s literary magazine and sang with the Handel Society. David was also a member of Psi Upsilon. After Dartmouth David worked in the communications industry in Boston for Time Warner Inc. and was a volunteer alumni interviewer. He was a member of Trinity Church on Copley Square in Boston. David is survived by sister Nancy, half-sister Lilla and half-brothers James and Peter.
