James F. Davies ’63 passed away peacefully on June 21. He was born in East Rochester, New York, and graduated from East Rochester High School. At Dartmouth Jim received an A.B.
Leonard H. Levitt ’63 died May 18 at home in Stamford, Connecticut, of lung cancer. Lenny was born in Cedarhurst, New York, and attended Woodmere Academy, where he was president of student government.
William H. Muldoon III ’63 of Kerrville, Texas, passed away on May 3. Bill graduated from Texas Military Institute in San Antonio, attended the University of Michigan, and transferred to Dartmouth, where he majored in geology.
Charles L. Pugh ’63 died March 23 at his home in Roanoke, Virginia, after a long battle with brain cancer. Charlie was born in Roanoke and he attended Jefferson High School. He graduated with an A.B. in government and then an M.B.A.
Joseph J. Connors ’63 died peacefully on January 27. Joe was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, and raised there and in Evanston, Illinois, where he attended high school.
Melvin M. Shiramizu ’63 died on January 22 in Lakewood, Colorado, of multiple system atrophy. Melvin was born in February 1942 after his father was drafted and sent to Texas and Wisconsin for training before being sent to Europe.
Sherman Bendalin ’63 died on January 27 and was buried in Beth Israel Cemetery in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. Sherm attended North Phoenix High, where he was a representative at Boys State.
