Robert Goldberg ’63 died March 24 after a long battle with heart disease. He attended Conard High School in West Hartford, Connecticut, where he was a soloist in the glee club.
Percy H. Russell Jr. ’63 passed away February 15 from Parkinson’s and Lewy body dementia. He was born in Washington, D.C., to Percy Sr. ’29 and Marjorie and attended Woodrow Wilson High, where he ran track and cross country.
Mark S. Horwich ’63, M.D., died on January 20. He was born in Dover, Delaware and attended Denver East High School. At Dartmouth Mark majored in philosophy and went on to obtain a B.Med. in 1965.
Richard Berkowitz ’63 died on December 31, 2021, of a rare blood disease. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on June 28, 1941, and was the first member of his family to attend college.
Frederick M. Asher ’63 died June 26 after a long battle with four cancers. Rick was from a Dartmouth family in Highland Park, Illinois, and attended Highland Park High School, where he was editor-in-chief of the newspaper.
Martin J. Bowne ’63, former class president, died on August 21 in Philadelphia. He was born in Long Branch, New Jersey, and attended Croydon Hall Academy.
Gaetano “Guy” Vicinelli ’63 died peacefully at his home in Village of Golf, Florida, on June 1 following a long battle with cancer. Guy was born in New York City and attended Sedbergh School, where he was active in several sports.
Barry Russell Elson ’63 died on June 7 in Atlanta. Barry was a native “Jersey Boy” from Cedar Grove and attended Bloomfield High School, where he was class president and star athlete in baseball, cross country, and basketball.
James H. Libbey ’63 died on February 13. He lived in Oakley, California, near his hometown of Antioch, California, where he attended high school and played golf.
