Laurence M. Scoville Jr. ’58 passed away on February 27 in Charleston, South Carolina, after a battle with cancer. Larry was an English major, rowed crew at Dartmouth, and was a brother of Kappa Sigma.
Joel A. Farrell ’58 died on July 5, 2021, in Arizona. He grew up in Schenectady, New York, majored in economics, and was very active in DOC and with Winter Carnival.
Phillip B. Stoddard ’58, M.D., passed away peacefully at home on March 10. Phil grew up in Batavia, New York, and spent his adult years in Springfield, Massachusetts.
John R. Germani ’58 died on June 24, 2020. John was an economics major, a brother at Beta Theta Pi, and was active in the Newman Club and Army ROTC. He received an M.B.A.
Joseph Wybrandt Kabat Jr. ’58, proud and stalwart member of the class of 1958 and a resident of Nashua, New Hampshire, died on October 10, 2010, at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, New Hampshire.
William Clarance Van Law Jr. ’58 of The Villages, Florida, died of cancer May 30. He is survived by Kay, his wife of 39 years, five children (three hers, two his) and seven grandchildren.
Edward Day Harris Jr. ’58, physician, researcher, educator and editor, died peacefully on May 21 at his son Chandler’s home in Thetford Center, Vermont, after a battle with a rare salivary gland cancer.
