George Ronald Duncan ’47 of Lagrangeville, New York, died on June 2, 2009. He grew up in South Hadley Falls, Massachusetts, and attended high school there.
Robert Edward Mulligan ’47 died June 9, 2011, in Norwalk, Connecticut. He grew up in New York City and attended Mount Saint Michael Academy. He served in the Marine Corps. In college he majored in history and ran cross country.
B.V. Brooks ’47 of Westport, Connecticut, died of a heart attack while traveling on a cruise to Mexico. “Dexter” grew up in Southport, Connecticut, and attended Deerfield Academy.
Richard Lyman Cates ’47 died in Madison, Wisconsin, on August 3, 2011. He grew up in New York City and attended New Hampton (New Hampshire) School. In college he majored in history and joined Phi Gamma Delta and Sphinx.
Andrew Carruth McCulloch ’47 died of cancer in Hanover on August 27, 2011. He grew up in Greenwich, Connecticut, and while touring as a child actor graduated from the Professional Childrens’ School in New York.
Richard Dexter Stevenson ’47 of Marblehead, Massachusetts, died on August 13, 2011. He grew up in Winthrop, Massachusetts, attended Winthrop High School and came to college in the Naval V-12 unit.
David Ronald Ehrlich ’47 of Camarillo, California, died on March 13. He grew up in Chicago, attended Calumet High School and joined the class in the Naval V-12 unit.
Norman Dorf Friedlander ’47 of Greenlawn, New York, died on June 2. He grew up in New York City, attended Columbia Grammar School and entered college as a civilian.
Edward Carshore Matthews ’47, M.D., died March 17 of cancer in Damariscotta, Maine, where he had practiced pediatrics and pediatric cardiology since 1971.
