Hi, ’12s!
It’s been a busy and beautiful summer but not too many updates from the class to share today.
Bianca Smith is making some big moves! She wrote us end of the summer with an update: “After a whirlwind coaching career with the Boston Red Sox, I’m taking the next step and checking off a major goal on my bucket list by moving to Japan in early August to coach youth baseball. I’ll be living in Higashikawa, Hokkaido, and coaching the local elementary and junior high school teams through the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program.” Bianca would love to follow along with Dartmouth alumni in Higashikawa or nearby, but those of us overseas can follow along with her adventures and career on her blog, gobethefirst.com.
In happy baby news, Katie (Niedt) Arn and her husband, Jeff, welcomed baby Imogen “Immi” Alexa this spring. Lucky Matt and Rachel (Moncton) Oatway also met their little Charles “Charlie” Samuel. Congrats on growing your beautiful families.
