Brock Lewis ’52

Brock Lewis ’52 of Sandwich, Massachusetts, formerly of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and Nantucket, Massachusetts, passed away August 19, 2010, after a long battle with cancer. Brock prepared for college at Tabor Academy and graduated from Dartmouth with a degree in economics. He received his law degree in 1955 from Boston University Law School. He then embarked on an eclectic career in commercial and investment banking in New York, New Jersey, Texas and Massachusetts. He eventually went out on his own and founded Brock Lewis Associates, New Sweden Trade Co., Skandil Kids and SGI International. His business ventures took him to Asia, South America, Europe and the Middle East. He was president emeritus of the Greater Trenton Symphony Orchestra, a former board member of the Steinway Society and member of the Nassau Club. He was also a very active member of Tabor alumni, serving a term as chairman of the alumni association. He is survived by his children Julianna, Christopher, Josiah and Victoria, many grandchildren and his former wife, Susan.
