Blair McClenachan ’45

Blair McClenachan ’45 of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, died April 11. He came to Dartmouth from Chester (Pennsylvania) High School. He was a multi-sport athlete in high school as well as at Dartmouth. After a 35-year career in advertising, he relocated to Carlisle and went to law school at the age of 65. He got his law degree, passed the Pennsylvania Bar exam and went to work for the Gettysburg district attorney’s office as a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Blair was an active sportsman and fisherman with a boat on the Intracoastal Waterway and owned several sports cars. In 1970 he married Eileen Hession, who survives him with daughters Anne and Sarah.
