Arnold Sprung ’47

Arnold Sprung ’47 of Evergreen, Colorado, died at age 83 on January 3. He came to college in the Naval V-12 unit from Columbia Grammar School in New York City. He majored in physics and participated in swimming. He served in the Pacific as a lieutenant, j.g., in the Navy. He graduated from Columbia Law School in 1950 and joined Burges and Dinklange in the field of patent law, becoming a partner in 1950. He was an ardent skier and enjoyed tennis, sailing and horseback riding. He retired to Park City, Utah, where he enjoyed the proximity of the ski slopes. He is survived by his wife and five children.
