Allan Joseph Stern ’47

Allan Joseph Stern ’47 died on May 19 in Sarasota, Florida. He grew up in Boston, attended Brighton (Massachusetts) High School and was assigned to Dartmouth in the naval V-12 program. In college he majored in chemistry, joined Pi Lambda Phi and participated in fencing, the Dartmouth Players and the Yacht Club. From 1980 to 1987 he was president of the Marketing Group in Boston, and following that, until his retirement, he served as vice president for communications for the American Kennel Club in New York City. He is survived by his wife.
