Albert E. Stein Jr. ’52

Albert E. Stein Jr. ’52 passed away on May 21, 2010, in Milton, Massachusetts. Al was from West Roxbury, Massachusetts, graduated from the Boston Public Latin School and was a Tuck major at Dartmouth. He was a member of Sigma Nu and played freshman and varsity hockey. He was in the U.S. Army following college and then returned to Massachusetts, where he first worked for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in Braintree and then he became a long-time employee and general manager for Wells Oldsmobile in West Roxbury. He was a member of the West Roxbury Rotary Club and treasurer of the West Roxbury Lions Club. His wife, Elinor, and children Kathleen, Susan, Robin, Elizabeth and Albert III and their families survive him.
