Roger Henry Dickinson ’47


Roger Henry Dickinson ’47 died in Stonington, Connecticut, on November 28, 2008. He grew up in West Hartford, Connecticut, and graduated from Taft School. In college he majored in psychology, played lacrosse, was active in the Glee Club, Yacht Club and Dragon. He worked in Hartford, Connecticut, for Baker Advertising and in 1960 joined Remington Advertising in Springfield, Connecticut, retiring as president of the firm. After several years as a freelance copywriter in 1995 he retired to Stonington, where he enjoyed competitive and recreational sailing. His father was a member of the class of 1923 and his brother-in-law was from the class of 1946. He is survived by his wife and a nephew.
