Lee Edward Bye ’41


Lee Edward Bye ’41 died on June 11, 2010. He was a resident of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. At Dartmouth he was a member of Aegis, the Dartmouth Forensic Union, the Interfraternity Council and Alpha Theta/Theta Chi. Lee was class agent in 1991. After graduation from Tuck School in 1942 Lee served for four years in the U.S. Navy as an ordnance officer. After the war he joined the New Jersey Telephone Co., working there in many capacities for 26 years and retiring eventually to Rehoboth Beach. He is survived by his wife, Helen, children Lee and John and three grandsons.
