John Lee ’83


John Lee ’83 died August 3, 2011, at the Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. Before his death John resided in Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey. Born and raised in Jersey City, he graduated from St. Peter’s Prep there before attending Dartmouth. John majored in government and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He did a foreign study program trip in government and a language study abroad trip in French. After graduation John attended Harvard Law School, graduating cum laude, and was then admitted to the bar in New York and Washington, D.C. He joined a law firm in New York City and lived in Manhattan for several years before moving to Newport City, New Jersey, and then to Spring Lake Heights. John’s favorite place was Sandy Hook, New Jersey, where he loved to identify and observe the native flora and fauna. Surviving John are his parents and a sister.
