Howard Keith Roxborough ’54

Howard Keith Roxborough ’54 passed away on May 10. “Roxy” came to Dartmouth from North Collegiate Institute in Toronto, Canada. After high school and prior to entering Dartmouth he worked for nine years in Ecuador and Colombia, entering Dartmouth as a 30-year-old (he was the oldest member of our class). At the end of his freshman year he applied to and was accepted at Harvard Business School. After graduating from Harvard in 1953 he retuned to Colombia and then spent time in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and British Columbia in the pulp-and-paper industry. He returned to Toronto, backing small startup companies and running the family electrical business. In 1993 he retired to Coral Gables, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Betty, and sons Michael, Stephan and Scott.
