Paul G. Finegan ’55

Paul G. Finegan ’55 passed away March 29. Raised in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, Paul came to Dartmouth from Episcopal Academy. He joined the Air Force ROTC program and was a member of Chi Phi and the varsity Glee Club. After graduation Paul spent three years in the Air Force as a navigator and was promoted to captain. He then earned an M.B.A. from Wharton School of Business before starting a 28-year career as an investment banker in Philadelphia. At the time of his retirement Paul held positions as executive vice president and chief investment officer of Core States Bank in Philadelphia. He also served for 25 years as chairman of the Iglis Foundation investment committee. Paul is survived by his wife, Jayne; children Paul, John, Lynn and Caryn; and five grandchildren.
