William Richard Stratton ’55

William Richard Stratton ’55 died February 27 in Santa Barbara, California. Will came to Dartmouth from Dwight Monroe High School in Englewood, New Jersey. He was a member of Zeta Psi, the International Relations Club, and the Pre-Law Club. He joined the Navy ROTC program and served three years as an officer in the Pacific. Will earned a law degree from Harvard Law School in 1964. He worked as a lawyer in the 1960s before switching careers to the energy field. He received an M.B.A. from the Stanford Sloan School of Business in 1970. He served as vice president of CSW Energy Corp. in Dallas and CFO of the Public Service Co. of Oklahoma, a subsidiary of CSW. Will was predeceased by his wives, Janet and Lois. He is survived by daughters Lisa and Ellen and stepsons Timothy, William, and Eben.
