Kenneth Vernon Zwiener ’54

Kenneth Vernon Zwiener ’54 passed away on January 29 in Barrington, Illinois. Ken came to Dartmouth from New Trier High School in Wilmette, Illinois. At Dartmouth he was an economics major and a brother of Chi Phi. After graduation Ken served 18 months in the U.S. Army in Germany. He then worked at Standard Oil of Indiana for 20 years, serving as assistant treasurer of the parent company and treasurer of its subsidiaries. He took early retirement and bought a small company that he eventually sold. Ken then did turnabouts of troubled companies and some consulting. His wife, Susan, predeceased him. He is survived by his sons, David and Douglas, and his daughter, Marilyn.
