John Peter Schurman ’54

John Peter Schurman ’54 passed away on December 7, 2016, at Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Lexington, Kentucky. John came to Dartmouth from Rocky River, Ohio, where he attended Rocky River High School. At Dartmouth he was an economics major, a brother of Delta Kappa Epsilon, a member of Dragon and in the Navy ROTC. John served in the U.S. Navy for three years. He then received his M.B.A. from the University of Louisville. He entered the heating and air conditioning business, for many years running his own business, Climate Master. John is survived by his wife, Mary-Jule, and children Amy, Chris, Julianne and Scott.
