Happy fall, ’07s! Jam-packed notes as usual.

Michelle Shortsleeve and husband Brian Dowling celebrated their one-year anniversary on July 12. They married in New Haven, Connecticut, while Michelle was at Yale and Brian worked as a journalist. Michelle has been teaching 10th-grade history in New Haven for five years but will be starting at Boston University Law School with a focus on housing law, while Brian will write for the Boston Herald.

Continuing in their tradition of doing everything together in matching outfits, Severina Ostrovsky and Christina Luccio both got engaged earlier this year to Chicago lawyers, whom they will wed in February 2016 and September 2016, respectively. “While neither Michael Skopets nor David Sargent is a Dartmouth graduate, we have already coached them in pong and are proud to say they can hold table in the best of basements. Cheers!”

Sofia Faruqi married Erik Desrosiers, whom she met at Wharton, during the July 4th weekend. In attendance were Andreas Baum, Ashley (Henry) Musser, Lance Labun, Phuong Luong and sister Sonia Faruqi.

Jonathan Beilin moved to N.Y.C. to start an M.F.A. at Parsons and is looking to reconnect with alums in the N.Y.C. area.

Derrick Smith has left Dartmouth and is now the associate director of young alumni programs at the University of Pennsylvania annual fund.

Amie Sugarman recently moved with her husband from New York City to Los Angeles. She is working in strategy at a charter school network downtown, where she hears the hipsters live. Amie is enjoying the L.A. sunshine, kale and gridlock and loves being able to spend time with Martie Kutscher, Sahiba (Sarna) Krieger and Joanna (Zimelis) Goldblatt.

Celeste Griffin-Churchill graduated from Northwestern Law and Kellogg School of Management’s J.D.-M.B.A. program this past June and now has moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, to work for NASCAR in strategic development. “Any ’07s who are interested in checking out a race should get in touch! Classmate Alex Cushman ’08 and I taught about 25 of our friends how to play pong during graduation weekend—but we obviously held table.”
