Class Note 2007
Mar - Apr 2015
Hello, ’07s! I hope 2015 is treating you well so far! Onto the notes.
Dave Stanek graduated from law school in 2012 and has been living in Chicago ever since. “I’m an associate at Paul Hastings. Chicago’s great. Jaime Padgett torments me regularly and I run into Adam Patinkin, Dave Zubricki and Dave Rhinesmith ’05 from time to time. Also, there’s a spot in Chicago that seems to be a magnet for Dartmouth alums: Streeter’s Tavern. Underground, pong and 1990s music—of course we’re there!”
Kirsten Murray congratulates Lisa Caldeira, who was recently named program director of Brother Francis Shelter in Anchorage, Alaska. The shelter, where Lisa has been working for the past two years, served more than 3,500 people in need in 2013.
Chris Blanco was on the road scouting for the Houston Texans and met up with Cullen Gilchrist at his coffee shop in Washington, D.C., Blind Dog Cafe. “If you have a minute, check out what Cullen is doing with his other business, Union Kitchen. He and his business partner, Jonas Singer, are finalists for USA Today’s ‘Entrepreneur of the Year.’ ”
Laura Flannery writes, “I married my high school sweetheart, Colin Masters (Ohio University ’06), on August 16, 2014, in Newport, Rhode Island. We were married at St. Augustin’s Catholic Church and had our reception at Rosecliff Mansion. It was the most beautiful, perfect day! Several Dartmouth alumni were there to celebrate with us: bridesmaid Angela Fang, Ali Levine Nuger, Lauren Hassouni, Christina Luccio, Lisa Warren, Tom Carney, Wes Milks, Paul Wright, Dave Faherty, John Shellito, Haley Bolin Shellito ’08, Sean Garren and Will Dekrey ’08. Colin and I now live in Beacon Hill in Boston and I am in my third year of the medicine-pediatrics residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital.”
Amanda Greenberg shares, “My husband, Noah, and I welcomed our son, Wake Morris Greenberg-Bornstein, into the world on November 26 at 9 pounds, 3 ounces, 22.5 inches long—happy and healthy! We moved to Philadelphia this past September to participate in the DreamIt Ventures accelerator with our startup, Baloonr. Our mission is to unleash the hidden creative potential of every team, company and organization in the world. We’re currently growing our company and rounding out our seed financing. Would love to hear from other ’07s in Philadelphia and beyond!”
Finally, Ryan O’Connor writes in, “Tired of all these Dartmouth weddings? Yea, we aren’t either. Roxy and I are happy to announce that we recently got engaged and will be continuing the venerable tradition of playing ‘Shout’ as loud as possible.”
We’re not tired of the wedding announcements either. Congratulations to everyone! May 2015 be full of even more great news for everyone.
