Class Note 2007

Issue

Mar - Apr 2010

Hello everyone! From your updates, it sounds as if many of you are starting off the year with exciting new adventures.

Ivy Pruss recently moved to L.A. and is enjoying living in Los Feliz. She is in her first year of the M.F.A. program in writing for the screen and television at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. She will be interning at William Morris Endeavor Entertainment in the spring semester. Clara Aranovich, Alice Mathias and Nathan Ruegger ’06 are students in the M.F.A. in production at USC.

Natalie Koch finished her geography M.A. and is getting underway with her Ph.D. research on Kazakhstan. Thanks to a National Science Foundation graduate research fellowship she has more time to race bikes!

Sarah Hughes, Preston Copley and Rachel Karpf spent the fall directing (Sarah), starring in (Preston), and producing (Rachel) Neptune, a new play from young theater collective Superhero Clubhouse. With the help of people such as Katie Farley ’09, Adam Frank ’09 and Marina McClure ’04, they transformed an abandoned New York City factory into a sold-out play about water, love, whales and the destruction of the world. When not making plays in factories Sarah is the stage manager for the international touring company Elevator Repair Service, Preston helps run the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society and Rachel is the associate producer for the playwrights’ group 13P. Their next project is coming soon. N.Y.C. folks, stay tuned.

Congratulations to Amanda Greenberg for marrying her high school sweetheart, Noah Bornstein, on November 28 in Oxford, Ohio. Rachel Ruiz and Lindsey Larson were bridesmaids, and other ’07s in attendance included Dave Zubricki, Jacques Hebert and Ben Zimmerman.

It was great to hear from you. Take care and keep the updates coming!

Cheers.
