Class Note 2007
Mar - Apr 2013
Happy 2013, my dear ’07s! We’ve survived the reindeer uprising of 2012! And that Mayan thing! Here’s to another year of marking milestones and celebrating each other!
Charlie and Lisa Kircher welcomed Theodore Miles Kircher into the world on December 21, 2012. “He was born at 9 pounds, 5 ounces, and 20 inches long. He’ll be going by Teddy, and we think he might be the first double ’07 baby. Both mom and baby are doing quite well.” A big congrats, Charlie and Lisa!
Katie Morales (Amato) writes that she will be in Mexico City with her husband through March and then in the Chicago area writing her dissertation for her Ph.D. in ecology, evolution and conservation biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign until May, when she graduates. “Please let us know if you are passing through. We’d love to have a mini-reunion in Mexico!”
Todd Wood and James Crandell spent President’s Day Weekend ripping waist-deep powder in Revelstoke, British Columbia!
Chris Allen shares, “I’ve been working on developing an iPhone app with two ’09s that finally launched in December. It’s called PetDuel, and basically all it does is present two pets for people to vote on the cuter one. You can also upload photos of your own pets to compete! Here is our website to learn more: www.petduel.com. And people can download the app directly from the iTunes App Store!”
And Daniel Obaseki just finished his first term in business school at MIT and spent the holidays and all of January in Nigeria and Ghana working on his startup, which is focused on online entertainment distribution of Pan-African entertainment content to the diaspora. “If anyone is in Boston it would be great to link up!”
Congrats to both Chris and Daniel for keeping up the ’07 entrepreneurial streak!
And finally, “The Temples (Courtney Calise Temple, Tom Temple ’03 and son Peak) are psyched to have welcomed son Kepler Maxwell (March 19) and to have moved to Colorado in 2012! Cheers to an adventurous 2013!”
I couldn’t agree more. Cheers to a year of adventure, ’07s!
